Explore Your Major Open House
Come and experience how Minnesota State Mankato transforms the typical college experience into one more connected to the real world.
At our Explore Your Major events, you’ll hear from a panel of current Minnesota State Mankato faculty members representing the various majors we offer. You will also have a chance to break out and meet with faculty from individual majors you are interested in.
We'll help sort out everything on your mind: choosing majors, paying for college, locating housing, achieving success after high school, and planning your future. You'll get to see what campus life is like, meet others making your own decisions, and get the inside scoop on preparing for college.
Schedule of events:
- 8:30am - 9:30am: Campus Resource Fair & Check-In (Centennial Student Union)
- 9:30am - 9:55am: Welcome & Admissions Information Session (Centennial Student Union)
- 9:55am - 10:25am: Faculty Panel (Centennial Student Union)
- 10:25am - 12:00pm: Academic Breakout Sessions
- 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch & Optional Residence Hall Room Tours
- 1:00pm - 2:00pm: Optional Campus Tour
